This was a submission for an Irish Webcomic to poke fun at tech companies and geeky stuff. I was sent the script which is mostly the text at the top and the narration boxes, and enjoyed working on this and coming up with what i hope is funny dialogue for the panels.

A First and Some Overlooked Design Work
This is a First for me, getting to see a design on an actual finished product, a good feeling, and it's a DVD ROM of African fairytales as audio plays, done for a Dublin based African Charity.
And here's a couple of pieces of design I like and had fun building but were either only visible for a second or barely visible in the final illustration.
First is a recreation of the Winkies logo, from David Lynch's 'Mulholland Drive' which was for a poster for a fictional Spider-Man movie directed by David Lynch, it was for one of the old Whitechapel Remake/Remodels, I took care to get it as accurate as possible but in the ned it was barely visible.
And finally from my first animation which was a cut out animation, street fighter themed soviet fight, the Capcom logo got modified.

Portfolio Colours and Inks
Attended the D.I.C.E. comic con in Dublin and decided to bring my portfolio for the portfolio critique. After being out of practice with a pencil and not wanting to rush something and have it not turn out well decided to put the focus on inking and colours, here's some of what i brought along.
Colour Work
I had trouble finding examples to colour that interested me so decided to scan some black and white comics that I had, first up a page from Punk Rock Jesus, which I consider to be the best comic on the shelves at present, followed by two pages from Nextwave, by Stuart Immonen, and luckyily I have the crayon butchery variant, also one of my favourite series of all time.
Ink Work
For Inks i chose a mix of artists I admire and like the style of and one that looked very traditional in it's execution, these are by Greg Capullo ( been a big fan of Mr. Capullo since Spawn, and his batman is stunning, and posts a lot of pencils/process on his deviantart page), Kenneth Rocafort ( an artist whose style i love, first caught my attention with Madame Mirage) and Ken Lashley (loved how traditional/old school this piece looked, instant classic and iconic with a great layout ).

North by Northwest
Saw a competition being run by the folks over at Film Fatale, to design a poster or advertisement for their next showing North by Northwest, and being a hitchcock fan couldn't resist, didn't expect to win but I did, so two free tickets to see a classic movie. It's a good day.

Inking Practice
For the sister Grimm project I realised my inking skills were rusty and needed to be worked on so decided to aim high and ink some of Greg Capullo's fantastic pencils from his current batman run, a lot of fun to do as he's an artist I've been a fan of since his spawn days, a big influence and inspiration, anyway here it is.

After the animated versions of the Company logo, they needed a static one, and this is what i came up with:

Movie Quiz Graphics
Here's some graphics from a game i worked on, first up is a home screen that didn't make it into the final game, the company already had one designed:
and here's some alternate designs for the end of the game screen done in the style of different movie logo's:
the posters game type was alot of work 200 questions where the posters had to have the title removed from them, the one that i was happiest with is Scindlers list it was a chaellenge to remove the title and leave the image not looking mangled:
and the final two are the keypad i designed to take the place of the default apple one, went for a retro style to it and made it look like a typewriter, here's an ingame screenshot and a WIP of the keypad:
