App Graphics
A little four frames of a walk cycle image for the home screen of a animated movie quiz app, fun to do and the aim was to create a generic character from the company logo to avoid infringing on any copyright. And also a gray scale version of it.
Book Cover Concept
This was a submission for the cover of a childrens book, a quick mock up of what it might have ended up looking like, the final piece would be done in a mix of illustrator and photoshop. The dead space is for the text of course.

The Avengers
Done for the avengers remake/remodel on the whitechapel forums, the brief was to redesign the 1960's TV show and was fun to do, ended up being josh howard/michael avon oeming inspired and doing it as an undate with emma peel as a very young lady with a taste for very bright colours not practical for a spy i know.

Draw Each Other
My latest addition to the 'Draw Each Other' thread from the Whitechapel forums, comicbookbunny, this was a milestone for me as it was done fully digitally my first drawing done on a tablet, (took me a while to get use to working on a tablet, the transition was long and frustrating but i'm getting comfortable with it), also my first use of manga studio which i'm liking alot.
An older piece from the same forum but done in my traditional pencil/ink/scan digital clour process, this time of, odaelisabeth.

Self Portraits
I've been working on an application form (it's for a place on a program for six weeks of working with design companies) that included a brief to do some self focused work it was a change of pace, darwing myself as me instaed of just using myself as reference for characters, here's two of what i came up with:
Firtly i wanted to try to do a typography self portrait, i'm a bit shy and drew a blank on what words to use so i enlisted the help of my friends and these are the words they think descibe me. I'm very happy with the end result which is rare for me.
Secondly is two portraits seperating me and the artist persona from each other, i tend to wear odd hats/goggles while i draw it started while i was alone in a small room alone for six months working on an animation.

Batwoman
i seen a sketch of this by bruce timm and wanted to see how it would look inked/digitally coloured, had fun doing this piece, working big is always fun and a background is something i rarely do but enjoyed this one, maybe i'll do more

I'm New Here
I'm not new here, just consider this a return and this to become my art blog not just a movie blog, the above piece is my homage to a true great an underrated great, Gil Scott Heron. This is a poster for a friends jazz show 'Coffee and Pajamas'for a special tribute of two hours of music by and in the vein of Mr. Heron.
